The people who do the work

Forge22 is a small firm on purpose. The people you meet on the first call are the people who do the work.

Sales development

Natasha Coetzee

Natasha has spent more than 14 years in B2B sales development and commercial leadership across financial data, software and IT managed services. She has built sales development functions from nothing three times. At S&P Global she led a team of eight to ten across EMEA and APAC, delivered 143% of pipeline target year on year, and integrated an acquired business into the commercial operation. Earlier, at Sphera, she built the EMEA function from scratch and stepped into wider commercial leadership. Most recently she led sales development at a private equity backed global managed services provider, reporting to the chief executive, where she wrote the sector go-to-market strategy, designed the account-based marketing programme and improved lead-to-opportunity conversion by 47%. She is trained in Challenger, MEDDIC and Other-Centred Selling.

One plan. One set of numbers.

Sales development fails when it is starved of demand. Marketing fails when nobody follows up properly. We have each spent years on one side of that line watching the other side get blamed. Forge22 puts both under one plan and one set of numbers.

A good fit, and a poor one

Good fit

B2B firms in technology, IT and managed services, financial services and data, and professional services, with revenue of roughly £10m to £100m and a sales team already in place. Private equity backed businesses, especially after an acquisition.

Poor fit

Firms under about £5m, firms whose real constraint is product or delivery, and anyone looking for a team to make calls on their behalf. We are not an outsourced appointment-setting agency.

Tell us where it is stuck.

Thirty minutes, no slides. You describe the problem, we tell you whether it is one we fix. If it is not, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
